Which turbulent model should be used?

Dear friends,
I am simulating compressible fluid (M > 2) in a cylinder. Could you give me some advice on which turbulent model I should choose? Thank you in advance. Best Regards Eric |

Rotating? Single-phase? Wat is the data you need (heat transfer)? etc etc. You need to give some more information, but you can start with the SST model.

Many thanks.
About my model: No rotating. Single-phase Static pressure on the wall is needed. |

SST will do. Just make sure you use a high definition schema and good resolution near shock waves as that will mostly determine your pressure profile.

That means a fine grid (for good shock resolution) and a high resolution schema indeed.
