I want to model and understand the condensation process in high speed flows, for example if i want to study transonic bump, which may create weak shock wave which in turn create non equilibrium condensation.

Medium: Air.
1)How to create material property of air? If I want to vary the relative humidity how should I create material? Do I have to use CCL or CEL?

2) Is MUSCL TVD scheme available in CFX? How can i make it enable? if not what are the other compatible discretization schemes available for CFX?

3)How to include droplet growth model?

4) How to visualize droplet growth? I mean what is the parameter I should enable to make it calculate so that i can post process in CFD post or Tecplot?

If you find any related documents to study, please share....

Have you read the documentation for the non-equilibrium condensation model? The droplet growth models of Young and Gyarmathy are already implemented.

Thank you for the reply. I had checked it in CFX reference guide I have not seen this. I was confused because several journal paper related to high speed flows did not mentioned about what model, I will have to try this.

Hello, I am conducting numerical simulations of non equilibrium condensation. I hope to customize the nucleation rate equation by using the CEL language, but the calculation results are not the same as those of the built-in formula in CFX. Can you give me some advice in this regard? I have posted the specific details on the forum. Thank you very much.

You have already asked this question in your other thread: Non-Equilibrium Condensing in CFX

Please do not duplicate post.

Please put any comments on this question on the other linked thread.
