Hi all, My study is effect of flow and heat across a confined square cylinder in steady state regime.the fluid i am considering is water. my question is whether the variation in difference of temperature between inlet temp and square cylinder temperature effect the velocity.

Hi,
I bet you'll find the flow is not steady state. The temperature difference will only be significant if it generates significant buoyancy effects compared to the existing flow. Glenn Horrocks |
