Hi!
I'm modelling a turbomachine passage (includes rotor and stator) in cfx. The mesh is generated in turbogrid, and it's ok/OK there. The problem is set up in cfx-pre with the use of Turbo-mode and pretty standard. When i solve the problem using serial mode, it runs ok and converges. When i set up local parallel, it fails on the 1st iteration with finmes linear solver error. What's the problem? Does the partitioner messses smth up? |

It is rare for a simulation which runs serial to fail parallel. But you seem to have found one. Sometimes you can make it run by defining a different partitioning algorithm and making sure partition boundaries do not lie on critical parts of the flow like free surfaces or shock waves.
