boundary conditions for boundary layer flow

Hallo All,
I have done a simple simulation test to check the boundary conditions in ANSYS CFX11. I run the case of flow over a flat plate. I set opening in the free stream boundary condition. I got a surprising overshoot in the velocity field across the plate, i.e., the velocity in the boundary layer increases to a value higher than the free stream one then fall down to the free stream one. I have repeated the same simulation with setting a pressure BC instead of the opening but there was no difference. I have used very fine mesh to check the grid convergence and also I have run it for laminar flow without success. Have any one explanation for that.... Any hint is welcome. Regards A. Al-Zoubi |
