In Fluent it is possible to perform a Broad Band Noise analysis. With this it is possible to indentify sources of noises in e.g. a fan.
Now it appears to be possible to perform this analysis outside fluent. It can be performed in CFD-Post on fluent cases where the Broad Band Noise analysis was not switch on. Or on CFX-cases. I have an ANSYS document from 2017 that shows this is possible using a state file in Post. I asked ANSYS to provide this state file, but without success. Probably they can't find it anymore. Or are unwilling to share it. Does someone else have it and is willing to share it here? Cheers, Gert-Jan (P.S., yes, I also asked this in the fluent forum) |

No one responded. Nevertheless, ANSYS found it somewhere in their archive or on an old HD.
If anyone is interested, send me a PM and I'll be happy to share it. |
