Hi
I need to obtain the lift and drag coefficients of a car directly from the cfx-post. I know how to measure the forces in the three directions x y z with the function calculator(lift, drag and side force), but not on how to obtain the coefficients. I searched through the archives and found limited info; I mean I learned how to obtain the forces only. What´s the procedure for the coefficients? Thanks! |

Hi,
You need density, a reference area and a velocity. You can also get these from CFX-Post. Then calculate the coefficients from there. Glenn Horrocks |

Use the function calculator and the force_x/y/z functions.
