I have to solve a CHT problem. I read CFX tutorials. Can someone give me some advice, going deeper into setting solid timescale and mesh conjuction.

Hi,
These settings are problem dependant so you will have to study these in your simulation to see what is optimal in your case. For steady state simulations you can often run quite high solid timescales compared to the fluid timescale. For mesh accuracy issues, do your own mesh refinement study. Also read the text book "Computational Fluid Dynamics" by Roache, it has extensive discussions on accuracy issues in CFD. Glenn Horrocks |
