Dear all,

How is the static pressure at inlet calculated when Mass flowrate is given at inlet condition.

Total Pressure is the sum of Velocity Head & Static Pressure.

Velocity head will be calculated from the value of massflowrate.

But how will be the static pressure calculated?

Thanks for the responses!!!

Amit

Hi,

Static pressure is extrapolated from the adjacent cells. This is discussed in the manual (but not clearly stated, I grant you).
