MassFlow problem ?

The massFlow at inlet and outlet of my domain is 2 kg/s.
I want to calculate the massFlow on a surface inside my domain. On this surface, I see a recirculation zone. When I calculate the massFlow of the recirculation zone on this surface, I found 1.07 kg/s. And the massFlow of the non recirculation zone is 3.07 kg/s, so the bilan of the flow rate on this surface is 2 kg/s. So why I find a massFlow of 1.65 kg/s when I use the massFlow function on the whole surface ? Is it something wrong ? Thank you for your help ! |

You have reported final values, but not reported how you have specifically computed them.
Would you mind elaborating on the equations/expressions you have used for those computations? Also, which component, CFX-Solver or CFD-Post, evaluated such expressions? |

Hi ! Yes sorry, I computed these values with the function massFlow() on the surface of interest in CFD-Post.
