Atella is on a distinguished road
Hi,
I am trying to model the flow around a wing in order to measure the lift and drag forces at different angles of attack.
At present I am using CFX through the ANSYS Workbench application. I am pretty new to all this and I am struggling when it comes to setting the domains.
At present I have modelled my wing in CATIA and modelled a domain around the wing. Once I load this into CFX it recognises this as 2 bodies. I am able to specify the inlet, outlet and walls of the domain and I set the wing as solid but once I have run the simulation the flow doesn’t seem to flow through the domain and around the wing, just straight through with no deviation.
Does anyone know what I could be doing wrong? Do I need to model the domain separately in ANSYS?
Thanks for your help
