Hi all,
I try simulate football stadium using CFX. But when i running in CFX-Solver, i get error messsage "a negative volume appeared". My football stadium with length 300 m, width 200 m, and height 20 m with open roof. I use ICEM CFD for meshing and I use element tetrahedron. Any body can help me with this problem? Thank you before |

Exactly as the error message says - an element has turned itself inside out and gone negative volume. This is easily done in ICEM when you go overboard with mesh smoothing. The default smoothing options do not take negative volume elements into account so you can smooth a mesh into negative volume elements.
