Hi everybody..
i have CAD geometry of Centrifugal compressor & volute, please advice me how to do CFD analysis through CFX 11.0 tool.My doubts are ... 1. Where to mesh compressor with diffuser & volute? 2. Is it possible to simulate the Rotation of impeller in simulation? Please send your suggestions to my Mail id itsmerhythmm@gmail.com |

Do first the corresponding tutorial for centrifugal compressor. First use tetrahedral mesh with ICEM CFD, it is easily controllable. The rotation can be simulated with Transient Rotor-Stator with transient physics, it is in the documentation.
