Thin material approach for interfaces

Does anybody know if CFX's interface model option of "Thin Material" for Heat Transfer takes into account of 3D heat conduction? Or, does it calculate the heat transfer in solid only for normal to the surface direction?
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks and regards |
