Hi all,

I'm hoping you may be able to help me - I'm trying to plot a thermal comfort metric in a space (CFD Post, run in CFX) and keep getting the same error message popping up:

WARNING
'Vertex' values for Variable 'UTCI3var' do not exist on Geometry /USER SURFACE:Occupied Surface.

This UTCI3var is a section of the full equation based on air temperature, air speed, mean radiant temperature and humidity (included as an attachment for reference) which can all be plotted without issue on their own.

Has anyone come across this before or have any advice on how to fix please?

Thanks,

Nicki

I don't know exactly what the problem is but on a surface the fluid velocity is zero by definition so check whether your function is valid with zero velocity. In particular, how is the "vair" variable defined and is it defined on a wall surface?

I'm guessing you stripped all the units from the expression? Or else your expression would not work due to units not matching in all the terms.
