Hi all,
I am a brand new user of Converge Scienceand I am really happy that it is a specific CONVERGE section here in CFD-Online. I just have some questions regarding a simulation that I have to run: I would to evaluate the flame speed of a spherical flame inside a box, I decided to use the GLevelSet Equation to represent it. Unfortunately I am not able to let the flame growing inside the domain and, even though I flag the G_EQN_TRANSPORT and G_EQN_PROGRESS inside Post_variable_section->Species/Passive, I do not succeed on having the flame as output. I use Converge v 3.0.9 on Windows. Thank you so much in advance. Best regards Francesco |

Hello Francesco,
The case setup you have attached has the following issues, 1) A mechanism file is missing. As you are using G-Equation with CEQ, the mech.dat needs to include the equilibrium species and no reactions. 2) The species in mech.dat need to be available in therm.dat 3) Please source G Transport as a source of ignition Thanks, Nitesh Quote:
