Hello everyone:
I want to change the reaction mechanism with GRI3.0, the "mech.dat" and "ther.dat" were replaced, but the "therm.dat" could not be read, the list of therm.dat species was blank, and the "mech.dat" appeared the message as “The following species are missing within Thermo data(therm.dat)”. The content of "mech.dat" and "ther.dat" file derived from GRI-Mech 3.0,which is an optimized mechanism designed to model natural gas combustion, including NO formation and reburn chemistry. Can you give be some advice? Thank you! |

Hello, awaikar:
Thanks for your reply. To put it simply, the component cannot be recognized when importing the thermo.dat file, but the file content format is correct. And I have solved this problem. When providing the thermo.dat file, a new .txt file should be built, then change it to a .dat file, and copy and paste the thermo data corresponding to the mechanism. My previous approach was to directly copy the new thermo data to the original thermo.dat file and overwrite the original data, which would cause an error. |
