Hello all,
I am trying to write and build a udf to implement a turbulent flame speed correlation based on experimental data from my lab. In the examples/combustion/g_eqn/g_eqn_unburned.c, there are models to be used with either RANS or LES. I need to add one, but I don't know how to refer it to CONVERGE Studio when I'm setting up the case. There is no option to add a custom model. Best regards, Abdalrazik Ali |

Hi AEAli,
Not sure which solver version you are using. If using 3.1, you need to turn on turn on g-eqn in combustion chemistry. image (7).png the udf include all the g_eqn routine. But you just needs to modify the turbulent flame speed part. If using 4.0, Converge has a user_turbulent_flamespeed_flag that user can directly modify the routine. In that case you dont need to use the whole g_eqn udf. Hope it helps. If you have more question on setting up the case or UDF, you can contact support, the team can help build a UDF or fix the case setup accordingly. |
