hi , i am using Electric-thermal module to simulate joule heating effect. I wonder , i had not specified specific heat of the object in the customized engineering material but still ansys gives out the result regarding temperature field on the application of V and Vo boundary condition. As far i know Only specific heat is the property which related the power(watts) and temperature. Can anybody enlighten me.

specific heat and density is only when doing transient problems, you can reference to thermal diffusity for more details. In steady state problems, the only parameter needed is thermal conductivity of material.
