Hello,
I have a question since a while, but always forgot to ask. Let say I have an assembly (Creo environment), with a housing and a piston. I run a first case with 1mm stroke Now I want to compare the result with 2mm stroke. So I create a new project, and I set the stroke with 2 mm. (I don't want to use the parameter tool) I run the case. Then I activate the first case with 1mm, and I see that the stroke is 2mm. Is there a way to manage this kind of situation? Thank you

Yes, you have to use the design table of Creo if you don't want to use the parametric Study.
This is in every CAD version as FloEFD always uses the CAD model as it is for the simulation except if the simulation project is referenced to a specific CAD model configuration such as in a design table defined. I think in Creo they are called Family table, in Catia they are called Design Table and for NX I honestly don't know but probably similar :-) Boris |
