Hello Everyone,

I'm looking for some guidance to do some joule heating analysis. Particularly interested in the PCB due to the high power density in the board. It is a high heat dissipating system (> 500W) cooled with forced convection. The PCB has 20+ layers.

1. I'm facing some challenges in importing the power map into the Flotherm since the EE team uses ANSYS SI wave. Is there a way to make the output file from ANSYS to be compatible with Flotherm ?

2. If the above mentioned option is not possible, is other way to model the power map ?

3. While processing the layers in FLOEDA, what are some recommendations to resolve the layers ?

Happy New Year!
