Solidified region interact with solid object -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

sneeringviper New Member Join Date: Mar 2021 Posts: 1 Rep Power: 0	Hi, I have a question. I have a cylinder thats solidified fluid region and I used a phantom object velocity to move it. The surrounding region is heating the solidfied region to melt it. It is on a collision path with a wall. The issue is that the solidified region does not interact with the wall and passes through it. However, the partially melted liquid stays behind. How do I make the solidified region halt when contacting the wall? Would using GMO help? I have density, solidification, viscosity and gravity model active Also anyway for gravity to act on solidified region?
