why? is on a distinguished road
If i turn the droplet breakup model on my water droplets, they get deleted for some reason. This doesnt happen though when the breakup model is off.

The Message is:

Injecting 100 particles parcels with mass x at t= y.
Number tracked=100 escaped=0 , aborted=0 trapped=0 _______
Deleted 100 particles

Then it continues with the iterations without the particles.

Any ideas?

Are you able to see any particle tracks? If they are leading to the outlet, it is possible that they are 'lost' through outlet.

No, they are just deleted at the inlet, not 'escaped' or 'captured'.

If i turn the breakup model off then the simulation continues with tracking the particles into the volume from the inlet and going all the way to the outlet.

Turning it on though results in them getting''deleted''.

Cheers

Ok. Sorry but I may have mixed up 'escaped', 'deleted' etc. Anyways, it is possible that when you use droplet breakup model there may be additional input required. Have you noticed any changes in the injection properties tabs when you switch droplet breakup model on and off?
