Hi,
I am simulating a simple problem in which water is being drained from a vessel. I have defined the boundary conditions as pressure inlet and pressure outlet at inlet and outlet respectively. So, air is supposed to gradually get in from the inlet as water comes out. But, it seems to be happening that the water on moving out is creating a vacuum causing air to flow in from the outlet. I have specified at inlet Volume fraction of water entering to be zero, but cannot specify air to be 1. is this causing the problem? I patch half the vessel with water before starting the simulation. Kindly help me.. |
