Hi,

I am trying to figure out why Fluent shows increase in phase-2 volume fraction in a closed domain (no inlets and outlets) and steady runs.
Isn't this against the basics of control volume formulation!! I have always learned that mass conservation is a key property of this formulation!!

Vof solves the:

1. Momentum equations based on mixture properties.
2. Volume fraction transport equation.

What about the continuity equation??
