Hello Everyone,

I'm researching coronary artery disease and simulating parabolic velocity profiles in ANSYS Fluent. My goal is to distribute the flow into three outlets, with 96% going to one outlet and the remaining 4% divided between the other two. Initially, I set the mass flow rate outlet boundary conditions, but I noticed that the maximum velocity obtained was 0.04, which is higher than the intended 0.008. However, when I applied a zero pressure gradient at outlet boundary conditions, then the maximum velocity was consistent with the expected value of 0.008. What might be causing this discrepancy? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
