Hi! this is my first post..

I am trying to simulating a simple transient heat transfer problem. I need to simulate the heat transfer across a vertical cylindrical heating element enclosed in a box with walls on four sides and inlet and outlet boundary conditions on top and bottom.
I gave the outlet as pressure outlet and gave the inlet as time varied velocity profile. I don't have any problems for serial UDF but in order to use a finer mesh I need to write the UDF in parallel. The workstation has a quad core CPU. Can anyone provide me with appropriate tutorials for this?? I searced the web but everything looks so complex

Thanks!!

You need to post the UDF, so we can see why it is not working.
