Dear All,

I would like to activate Brownian Motion Panel in order use Stoke-cunningham drag force.

I attach my screen shot for you to see (attachment: ScreenShot)

This is the manual from Fluent, this one has Brownian Motion

Ensure you are solving the energy equation because Brownian motion is a function of temperature; consequently, Fluent requires the energy equation enabled for Brownian motion.

Brownian motion is enabled on individual injections from ANSYS Fluent 15.0 (possibly one or two versions prior as well), instead of from the DPM > Physical Models tab which you have attached.

What context are you modelling, are you looking at colloidal particles in particle-laden gas flows? You may need to determine the Cunningham correction factor.

Dear "e"

Thank you for your reply, in this case it is a particle in gas flow.
I already activate the energy equation, but it does not have Brownian motion tab in DPM.

Please advise

Best Regards,
Yannapol S.

Try looking under "Injections...".
