Helium is on a distinguished road
Hi everyone,

I am running a very simple case where I apply a udf to move the left side of a 2D rectangular tank with 50% water and 50% air.

The udf is very simple: I apply a cosinusoidal velocity like this:

v = Amplitude * cos * (3.14 * t)

The problem is that when I try to raise the value of the amplitude: for small values like 0.025 or 0.050 the simulation goes fine, but when I set greater values I get this error.

Mine is a very simple mesh: face meshing with element size of 0.01 m resulting in less than 200k elements (simple mesh to run this case test).

For dynamic mesh I use Smoothing Spring Based (all defaults) and Remeshing (0.01 for min and max amd 0.7 for skewness). When I create the event, I select the side of the Tank I want to move (only the left) and I select cell size 0.01 constant.

Time step of 0.001.

Any ideas?
