Sir,
I have a long duct of 6 m length and I need to plot temperature at each 0.1 m length. I can do it manually through isosurface but takes long time. Like this I have to do for 20 different cases. So I need to write a journal file such that it creates an isosurface at each 0.1 m. Kindly help me in this regard. Thank you. |

Hi Santosh,
Open Fluent window, Start recording the journal, read your case and data and create an isosurface for the first 0.1 m length, Stop your journal. Now open the journal in a text editor and copy the isosurface creation command for the number of iso-surfs you need and edit the distance accordingly. You can then use the same journal for multiple cases by changing the name of case file in the first line (rcd ...) Hope this helps Regards Luke |
