Hello,
There is a 2D periodic problem in which the mass flow rate quantity across the periodic boundary are known and given. The pressure gradient of the domain is calculated by Fluent and displayed in the "Periodic Conditions" dialog box, as mentioned in Fluent tutorial guide. However, I have noticed that if I let my simulation to run for few more iterations after the convergence of the solution, then the displayed pressure gradient also changes. I had a "3D" problem with periodic boundaries at the inlet and the outlet which was set as mass flow rate but never faced this change of pressure gradient after convergence of solution. Can someone help and comment on how to get the exact pressure gradient in the domain using periodic boundary condition set as mass flow rate??? Thank you very much, Honey |
