Hi all,

I simulate a water flow through a pipe as you can see below. The velocity looks good to me but the wall heat transfer coefficient looks a bit strange to me. I would expect a high heat transfer coefficient at the point where the velocity is verry high.

What can I do to get the real heat transfer coefficient?

The pictures show the velocity in pofile and the wall heat transfer coefficient on the cover.

Thank you for your help=)

RodriguezFatz will become famous soon enough
Maybe you just need to rescale the heat transfer picture. It looks like you have some spurious numerical effects right in the bend of the pipe. Just set the upper color of your picture to some lower value and you will see what you are looking for. Also you could refine the grid in the bend to get rid of the numerical artifacts.

Definitely rescale the picture.

Also, you are plotting the wall function heat transfer coefficient. This value is not the same as the wall heat transfer coefficient.
