CDollarsign New Member Colin Fiola Join Date: Jul 2012 Posts: 19 Rep Power: 13	Hello, I am trying to run a compressible simulation on a 8 million point mesh. My mesh quality is good and there are no issues when mesh is checked in FLUENT. It is taking me 8000 second per iteration. I have a 3.6 ghz Xeon 8 core processor with 16 gigs of ram. I am maxing out my resources when running the sim, so is there a recommended amount of ram per million nodes in mesh? I know some other programs require 3GB per million nodes, meaning I would need at least 24GB. Does this sound right?
