Hello, I use Solar Calculator today to compute solar irradiation.
But I find that different version(ansys fluent 14.5 and fluent 6.3.26) gives me different results.

Fluent Version 6.3.26
Fair Weather Conditions:
Sun Direction Vector: X: -0.468382, Y: -0.19428, Z: 0.861901
Sunshine Fraction: 1
Direct Normal Solar Irradiation (at Earth's surface) [W/m^2]: 854.507
Diffuse Solar Irradiation - vertical surface: [W/m^2]: 134.182
Diffuse Solar Irradiation - horizontal surface [W/m^2]: 115.757
Ground Reflected Solar Irradiation - vertical surface [W/m^2]: 85.2258

Fluent Version 14.5
Fair Weather Conditions:
Sun Direction Vector: X: -0.468382, Y: -0.19428, Z: 0.861901
Sunshine Fraction: 1
Direct Normal Solar Irradiation (at Earth's surface) [W/m^2]: 855.955
Diffuse Solar Irradiation - vertical surface: [W/m^2]: 98.3146
Diffuse Solar Irradiation - horizontal surface [W/m^2]: 115.383
Ground Reflected Solar Irradiation - vertical surface [W/m^2]: 85.3132

Most of the value are the same, but Diffuse Solar Irradiation - vertical surface is totally different, I am confused about this. And I don't know which one is right, so I could not continue the simulation.
Can anyone help me? Thank you in advanced.

The solar load calculator does not work correctly in Fluent 14.5+
It just takes the standard vector form the calculator instead of the given one, even if the checkbox is unchecked. This bug is supposed to be corrected in Fluent 15. The only workaround is to define the solar position using the north and east vectors.
