Hey guys,
I would like to export the liquid fraction curve of a 2D melting problem in order to process the graph in Excel or Origin. I don't know exactly where or how to start in this case. I'm started using Fluent and the user guide is not really helpful to me. Could someone help me? It's probably easy :/ I attached a picture with the geometry and the liquid fraction I would like to plot (green) Thanks in advance!!! |

in x axis: select mesh/ x coordinate in Y axis: select mesh/ y coordinate in surface: create iso surface of volume fraction=0.5 and select that. Be success |

A further question. How can I tell Fluent to use the left bottom corner of my geometry as the (0,0) point of my diagram? I would like to plot four melt fronts in one XY Plot but at the moment the zero value of the X axe is somewhere in the middle.
Thanks |

It should look somehow like this but with the (0,0) in the left bottom corner

Guys i do not understand how to plot the melting front after reading your threads. Can you please make it simple as i am new to ansys fluent. I am working on the simulation of melting of Phase Change material. Thanks in advance.
