Hi,

Hello,

For my research project, I would like to develop a predictive calculation of thermal erosion protection.
I used the DPM model - erosion of FLUENT and I have good localization of erosion area.
But I do not find what is exactly erosion rate in kg/m2/s.
It depends of data that we go to each wall.
If I understand, for my stationnary model, i should find the right model for the composite considered (depending on the angle of impact, etc. ...) and multiply the "DPM-erosion rate" by the density of materials for erosion in mm / s.

Can you tell me if my method works and give me advice on this?

Thank you very much,

Andy
