FLUENT 14.5 parallel processing on network of computers -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

yhy20081016 Member yehanyu Join Date: Mar 2012 Location: Beijing, China Posts: 48 Rep Power: 14	Hi, everybody. I am currently using ANSYS FLUENT 14.5. I want to perform parallel processing on a network of two computers. Both computers are running Windows 7 operating system. Since there are only two computers, router is not used, and the two computers are directly connected by an RJ-45 wire. The connection of the two computers are already verified by the "ping" command. I am currently using Intel MPI (In FLUENT Launcher, the "MPI Types" option is set to "intel".). However, it doesn't work. The error message is shown as follows: Unable to connect to 'a1:8678', Does anyone know the solution? Thank you very much.
