Hi everyone,

I am trying to model stokes oscillating flow problem in Fluent, My model is simple square domain with bottom wall as plate. I successfully applied periodic boundary condition and was able to solve to the problem, but I want to know when periodic boundary condition is applied, what value does FLUENT apply on u, v and p in streamwise direction on boundaries ? As my understanding goes we need 2 values prescribed (on boundaries) of u and v in streamwise direction to solve full NS equation.

It would be great if anyone can help me out understanding periodic boundary condition for NS equations.

Thanks
