chmurillor is on a distinguished road
Hi everybody!

I am trying to model a pressurized gas injection in a chamber at low pressure. This injection constitutes a supersonic flow near the inlet.
The boundary condition that I am considering is a pressure-inlet adjusted with a pressure profile defined with a UDF.

I have noticed that the convergence with a RANS or DES model does not harness levels low enough (especially, the turbulence parameters). However, the LES turbulence achieves lower levels with the same solver parameters and boundary conditions.

I would like to ask you for an insight to analyze this behavior because I am not sure of how the space filetring performed by the LES model affects the convergence levels.

Thanks in advance for your help,
