Hello,
Is it possible to separate cells by an iso-surface of VOF=0.5?
This iso-surface of VOF=0.5 divides each interface cell equally. So, I want to separate the fluid domain based on this iso-surface inorder to delete the fluid region on one side of this iso-surface.
My fluid domain contains liquid with vapor above it.

Thanks & Regards,

Hello,
I have done VOF simulation using ANSYS Fluent. I have obtained an interface with liquid and vapor on either side of the it. I want to delete the vapor cells from the domain and make the interface as a WALL. I am marking cells with volume fraction from 0.5 to 1 and deleting them.
When I try to do this, a zig-zag shaped WALL is forming instead of a smooth interface WALL.
How to avoid zig-zag shaped WALL and to obtain a smooth interface WALL after deleting vapor cells?

In literature: People have extracted images of the interface and bounding solid walls and meshed the volume containing liquid only. Even if someone suggest how to achieve this it would be great.
Thanks in advance!
