Hi, I did the numerical simualation fir nozzle cavitating flow without thermal effect. Now I want to account the effect of thermal property on cavity. To do this, I change the vapor density to ideal gas and viscosity. Also the vapor pressure is the function of temperature. By enable the energy option, the energy equation is calculated with other equation.
But the result is different to experimental results and the results without thermal effect, It is longer than the other one, the cavity length. This chacracteristic is incorrect, due to thermal effect the cavity should be shorter.
So it seem to be that the cavitation with energy equation is not compatible in Fluent?
Someone has experience in this research, please help me to answer my question? Thank you.
