I am relatively new to CFD and have worked with relatively easy steady state problems. I am trying to model an incubator in fluent which basically has an five face wall structure with inlets and outlets at the base. The following are the boundary conditions given
Inlet - Velocity and Temp Outlet - Pressure and Temp Walls - Constant temp wall condition When I run a transient analysis, the velocity profile seems right but the temperature profile is just the inlet temp everywhere in the domain. I tried the solution for 1s. The convergence criteria seems to work taking less than the given number of iteration for each time step and the order of convergence is around 3. Is there some thing else I need to check to get the temperature profile right? PS: The steady state solution seems to given be a fairly correct profile. |
