Hi everyone,
I am doing a simulation about boundary growth in FLUENT. If a particle hits the wall, then the fluid cell near the wall will be converted into solid, similarly discribing the particle deposition on the wall. But I'm wondering how can I change a fluid cell to solid like paper "Development of a Predictive CFD Fouling Model for Diesel Engine Exhaust Gas Systems" says. I don't know which kind of function was used in their UDFs. Figure below shows the fouling growth methodology they use (comes from paper: "Development of a Predictive CFD Fouling Model for Diesel Engine Exhaust Gas Systems" ). Hope someone can give me some tips. Thanks in advance. Wang Fei-Long |
