Hello everyone,

I want to model a 3d porous medium in fluent. The 3d geometry have a cone shape inside with a outer layer modeled as porous medium zone (see picture 1, highlighted part is porous zone).

I have a few questions about setting it up
(1) can i model the two parts as conformal or the contacting face as interface in B.C?
(2)what is the boundary condition at the outer wall of the porous medium (like picture 1 highlighted surfaces)??

Thank you~
