hi guys,

I really need your help. I stuck in my research. I would like to know the set up of closed pipe, I mean no inlet and outlet. I dont know how to setting up this. Do I need to consider inlet-vent or outlet-vent?

I hope anyone of you can answer this.

thanks

I don't understand the problem, if its a closed pipe just have all the boundaries be walls?

Wall should be an option you can select in the BC panel for each BC

Hi guys,

I intend to simulate gas explosion behavior involving premixed methane/air mixture in a closed straight pipe...i really have no idea how to set the concentration (fuel/air mixture) inside the closed pipe prior ignition as the pipe contains no inlet or outlet BC..... ..also I am not sure how to simulate ignition initiation inside the pipe..

Thanks
