hi
i have have solid Cylindr in a cube.

The wall thickness is used for modelling interface contact resistances (asperities) or surface fouling resistances (conduction over thin layers of fouling deposits). Nearby you will find an option for the material of the wall, which is used to specify the material of this "thin layer". The default material is aluminum.

For ideal perfect thermal contact between bodies you can leave the wall thickness as 0.
