Hey all
I am trying to simulate an open jet flow with and without combustion using LES in a 3d model. the non reacting flow worked fine with velocity inlets and outflow for the outlet and symmetry for the lateral sides boundary conditions. but with the reaction the jet flame seems to be moving sideways or being pushed sideways the solution doesn't seem to converge. Please help.. I dunno what boundary condition i should give on the lateral sides so that a proper jet can be simmulated. Thanks |

I am simulating an open jet flame. I am finding it difficult to assign appropriate far-field and outlet boundary conditions. Please find attached the image for reference. Kindly guide.
