Hello, guys, is it possible to model a flexible wall (like a diaphragm, on a diaphragm pump), like, with the deformation being caused by the pressure near this wall? Thank you!

This requires FSI which Fluent doesn't support alone.

But it is possible in workbench. You need to couple Fluent with Mechanical or something like that.

Thank you, LuckyTran. I'm trying to do a transient analysis, and this flexiblity will change the outcome (since it is not just a steady state simulation). I thought that FSI would just give me solution to steady problems, since I calculate the "solid" part after I already finished my fluid simulation. Do you think it is possible to solve them at the same time?

Transient FSI is two-way coupling and is also supported. But I don't have any experience with it.

Use the transient structural block in workbench.

There's a workbench tutorial on two-way FSI. Look in the Ansys help, it's not in the Fluent help.
