Hi,
I am extending my immersed boundary method (IBM) solver from 2D to 3D. Previously, defining a body is as simple as drawing an enclosed line. However, going to 3D makes the problem much more complicated for general body. I read that the 3D body surface is usually defined by triangles. What software is recommended for drawing the 3D body surface? Also, what types of algorithm are good for identifying point in/outside the 3D body? Thanks! |
