Solid-liquid transition problem (phase change)

Hi,
I have ran a model displaying the average static temperature against flow time, in hope to find out the time when the solid-liquid transition occurs (so constant temperature), however when I run the model I dont get any constant temperature over time, indicating to me that there is no stored energy. The melting temperature is 46C (319K), so at this temperature it should be constant. Should I maybe plot the temperature against the energy to see this transition? I have attached a picture of the problem, the left image is the graphs from the model and the right images is the schematic phase transition (theory) and someones results from a journal. Regards |
